Hey fellas, I recently ackwired a 2000 Accent fairly basic it has a SOHC 1.5L bought it with over 7 codes... most were stuff like MAF sensors misfires etc.

Now since I purchased it I have replaced the following parts.

1. MAF Sensor
2. TPS Sensor
3. Spark Plugs
4. Wires
5. Checked Purge solenoid ( Working )
6. Checked 2 way valve on the tank ( Working )
7. Swapped the 2 oxygen sensors as they are the same PN....

Car drove fine today at some point while moving at 40mph at 3500rpm at WOT it seemed as if there was fuel starvation because it wouldnt accelarate any more...
On the way home it had all kinds of power and no such issues.

Now the P1123 and P1127 says rich condition for something like 30sec on 2 consecutive trips.

Question is what the **** is causing this?

I would think that there is something causing the engine to deliver more fuel then it has to, but what is it? Anyone ever had this issue? How did you fix it?

Since the swap of the O2 sensors we replaced both sensors and so far nothing.

We also replaced thermostat and water temperature sensor also fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator fuel filter and canister purge valve.

Basically 500+$ and still the codes come up.

We even checked for leaky injector but nothing.
We did notice that there were some plastic pannels near the Cat....converter melted so we can tell they were working overtime.

Last thing will be to replace the ECU!

I hate this car with passion!

ANd new MAF sensor... car passed emissions no prob...

So if you got that problem start with the above 3...
