Just got my 2022 Santa Fe Calligraphy yesterday and I noticed the upper console buttons (sunroof, door and map lights, SOS and Blue Link buttons are backlit. Very happy because I was under the impression that they were not.
Just curious if the buttons themselves have the transparent writing. One could easily wire an LED or two behind them connected to the reverse mirror power???? HummmIs Hyundai the only manufacturer that changes things like this in the middle of a model year? Bought my 22 Calig off the truck on Feb 22 and that is not the console that mine has. Only bluelink buttons are backlit and both bluelink and SOS buttons are on the left side.
Knowing how much I hated that my 2019 wasn't lit. I'm glad it took four months to get the car. I did a happy dance when I saw they were lighted. Now hopefully a software upgrade gives us Wireless Android Auto/CarplayIs Hyundai the only manufacturer that changes things like this in the middle of a model year? Might be - I have a 22' Caligraphy, Jan 22 Build, and mine does not look like this either. Is Hyundai the only manufacturer that changes things like this in the middle of a model year? I'm picking mine up from the dealer sometime this week. I will post a pic of what mine has.Might be - I have a 22' Caligraphy, Jan 22 Build, and mine does not look like this either.
It's stamped on the B pillar. How do you know when your vehicle was built?
Many vehicles have an actual official designation of 1/2. My MX5 is from early in that year, and when you look up parts there is a 1/2 model. My 2022 Tucson built on 2/22/22 and I got literally off the truck 3/11/22 is considered a 2022 1/2 by the dealer though the window sticker does not say that.Is Hyundai the only manufacturer that changes things like this in the middle of a model year? I have backlit buttons as well, built on Mar/29/22.My car was built 3/17/22
Please do.... Would like to know the part number and if it's just a plug and play part.I'm going to have to check my wife's '22 Limited and see what that panel is like. I work for a dealership that has a Hyundai sister store, if this is a mid-year change I'm half tempted to try to get the backlit version and swap it. I don't recall those being illuminated before.
And I thought Jan 20, 2022 to April 19, 2022 was a long time.Mine was built the end of Sept 21, but didn't make it to the dealer until Feb 22! Possibly waiting on chips? Who knows!
