yah, well, if you look at my pics, the plate DOES sit higher
Sorry - I should have referred to the OP LinR52 with the Massachusetts plate (not Texas), which partially blocked the radar cover. It sounds like the dealer sorted the issue by raising the plate clear of the radar.

Note: in addition to front radar, some models also have front sonar parking sensors (mine has rear only - no fronts) which will also need to be left uncovered - I'm not sure where they are mounted.

like i said, the dealer is lazy. the plate bracket on our car has a hyundai part number on it. there are "grooves" on the upper left and right side, so that it fits perfect. the one on his car is a generic plate bracket, and does not fit snugly like the correct one. i bet a mitchell crash book would have it. and i guarantee you if i had the hyundai parts catalog, i could find it. i started out with bmw when all they had was books(behelfs catalog), then they went to microfiche, then cd/online.
