Not a fan at all. That trim between the emblem and he headlights just looks tacky. Looks very generic to me. Dissapointing

+1. Also tacky are the silver colored inserts on the air vents in the dash. I am pretty sure those are not even metal.

I much prefer the exterior and interior design of the 2017-2018 Sport and non-sport.

Exterior design sucks but those Red seats are great! Not for certain exterior colors but White, Silver, Red, and Black they would look good. RIP 2017-2018 Elantra Sport.

They are not lights.... They are blinkers.
Thanks! Those lower triangle blinkers bother me, a lot. <img src="http://www.hyundai-forums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />
I actually spent about an hour trying to figure out how to turn them on before reading the manual. I felt stupid after finding out that they're blinkers...

I have looked at a 2019 VE. The design is there in the vent but it does not have the chrome. I agree. The chrome is ugly. First pictures of 2019 showed that and I said if all trim levels have that, that is a negative to me. So I think the chrome is just on the Limited and the Sport.

Improvement over the 17-18 model. Since it updated within 2 years they must have seen it needed it.

Except it’s not an improvement in any appreciable way. The styling was updated to keep pace with the standard Elantras which is more so about supply chain and logistical efficiency as opposed to running separate sheet metal. Everything else are holdovers from the 17 & 18 Sport. They actually did the opposite of what you stated by taking the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach.
