I'm looking under my car for the first time today. The oil filter was very easy to locate, but where is the oil pan gasket located, for when I do the first oil change? Assume I'm looking up underneath the car with the back of my head facing the rear of the car. Thanks!

Never mind--found it. Glad the belly cover doesn't have to be removed like on my wife's Santa Fe!

OK, it appears that an extra-long extension might be needed on my ratchet (connected to my oil filter wrench tool) to fully clear the belly cover. Is that what others here do when removing the oil filter?

I also use a 3 inch extension on my ratchet when removing the oil filter, if needed. Oftentimes, I can undo my filter with just my hand though, a perk enjoyed when you do your oil changes as opposed to the Hulk who installs your oil filter at the dealership.

Exactly! And like my wife’s Tucson Limited/Ultimate. What a PITA!
