Anyone else seen this happen on a 2018 sonata 2.0t? I just hit 1,000 miles yesterday and i noticed it sounded a little bit off, kind of like there was a leak in the vacuum system. Well today I’m driving and pulling out of a gas station and had to get on the gas a bit. The transmission was in auto but wasn’t up shifting so it revved the rpm’s pretty high and I had to manually shift it. Got pulled over and see that the hose clamp is still on there, the hose seems to have broken. All stock.

Car was probably built on a Friday afternoon!

That’s what I was thinking. Or someone just had a bad day at work. Turns out the hose didn’t actually break the clamp just was loose so it slipped off the turbo. Dealer reattached and did full test of system to ensure everything is ok. Wonder how many made it past qc like that though.
