Just bought a used 2017 Elantra GT and the trip button has no spring and does not trigger. Wondering if there is a guide on how to remove/disassemble it to see if I can tinker with it. I've removed the horn cover, but the 2 screws holding the right button panel doesn't release it.

If it's a CPO, why not take it back to the dealer? Yeah, it's a pain, but while you have the warranty...

ya, I agree with SKYGZR .... its a 2017 model... let a professional repair it while under warranty. If you break it... then its probably not a warranty fix any longer. You might get a whole new steering wheel assembly maybe under warranty.

There is no guide on this forum that I know of for that type of repair.... this is the first I heard of this type of issue.
If you had access to a workshop manual.... that might cover it.
