Just purchased a 2016 Tuscon Sport. When I engage the left turn signal, all of the vehicle lights [internal and external] shut off completely. On the dash it shows that the lights go from Auto mode to DRL Off. I have made sure that I am not twisting the lever at all when doing this. It does not happen when I just tap the lever, only when the lever full engages into the turning position. Any advise on resolving this so I can turn left and be able to see when driving at night?

Take it to the dealer. But I have an off the wall thought. I wonder if it is related to the multi function switch going bad:

Reading this post sparked something in my head. So I dug up the repair order and it mentioned that the switch was faulty as it was causing a short. I wonder if that would cause the issues that are being described here. T
