I’m thinking about building a street-track car out of my 2016 sonata 2.4. I was wondering what are the best suspension parts for it and if the drivetrain can handle around 350whp since i’m going turbo.

The 2.4l engine has tremendous potential, yes, but to subject the car to that amount of power may be foolhardy.

You need more than just suspension and transmission upgrades. The standard brakes barely serve hard street driving duty; the chassis will definitely require bolstering; and the transmission and drivetrain will probably not survive the first day.

You need a lot of specialised engineering for that project.

I say if you got the cash go for it. Just to see the look of the WRX drivers face as you pass him on the 3rd corner lol. Wish I could help with specific parts but brakes should be number 1 priority. Once you can stop properly the rest can come

You want a fast car, buy a fast car. The sonata is a great cruiser and gets good mpg. It is a terrible starting point for a performance vehicle.
