Hi all,
I have got 2016 hyundai accent(rb-02) headunit. I have heard that you can update it to get carplay and android auto.
Also found a youtube video where it shows the same.

Anyone else has updated it in their car and can share me the files?

found 1 on ebay, seems to me that the one shown in the video just adds carplay to the headunit.

Yeah. Even just a carplay would be good. Any idea how can I get carplay in this model?

My car (Accent 2018) has carplay, just need to connect my iPhone via USB.

The problem is I moved to Android, and therefore need Android Auto for the RB-02.

Based on this thread it looks like we wont be getting it because of a "small screen".

However here it says that dealers can update the unit to add android auto:

Also inquired through Hyundai helpline:

Kindly be advised that the unit in Accent is not compatible with Android Auto.

Yeah both cartronics (who provide the firmware) and Hyundai said it's not doable. Something to do with the screen being too small.

The article that said it has retracted the claim somewhere in their "ask the expert" section.
