Today I installed LED bulbs and universal 9005 dust covers. The bulbs are excellent however, the dust cover does not lign up with the back of the fan no matter how you adjust them. What is the likely hood that I will get condensation in the housing from a 1inch hole? Also anyone that installed LED bulbs in a 2015+ Did you remove the oem dust covers, leave them off or fabricate/customize one?

FWIW, I've been running without the dust covers on my Elantra for a couple of years with no issues. Just be sure the "bulb" is seating properly to the housing.

I have no dust covers for both high and low beams and didn't have any issues.

Although I try to shove them in for the low beams time to time if it falls out.

The high beam dust covers fell while I was driving lol.
