Just wondering if anyone has experience with or any recommendations regarding replacement of the rear suspension on a 2015 elantra sedan? I'd like to replace the torsion beam suspension with an independant suspension to improve the handling and comfort of the vehicle itself. I've also never moved a car before so no poking fun, I need all the help i can get.

Very expensive to do ($thousands), but there are other things to be done with the torsion axle that improve it significantly.

Change to KYB rear shocks, or the Elantra GT (GD series) OEM shocks used with the sport suspension (17" wheels)

Add a Progress Technology rear stabilizer bar. Best $165 you can spend to improve ride and handling. https://www.progressauto.com/produc...2014&make=Hyundai&model=Elantra+&+GT&x=12&y=9

Pierce Motorsports rear stabilizer bar
2012-2017 Elantra Piercemotorsports Rear Torsion Bar - Pierce Motorsports

I have a 2016 Elantra SE and the rear bar made a HUGE difference in how the car handled and rode. Settles the rear suspension down significantly. Less than an hour to install, common hand tools.

Hope this helps.
