Hey all,

This is my first foray into turbo cars and I've been loving it. I've had my 2015 sonata eco for a month. I bought it used with 60k miles on it from a Benz dealer. They had said they did an engine replace (from LKQ) due to the previous owner blowing out the turbo, due to lack of oil changes. It sounded like a crazy good deal.

So I was driving last night and heard a moderately loud "pop". Thought it might be a tire or some debris. Got out, tires good, ok. Got in and started driving and when I give some gas it whines super loud. I assume the turbo, but again. I've only had a turbo for a month. I won't pretend to know anything. VERY noticeable loss in power. Does anyone have an idea what it is or what I should do? I've not dealt with LKQ before, but apparently they have a 6mo 6K warranty, but are there recalls on this? I couldn't find any.

Thanks

Pop the hood and look

Hopefully its a hose that popped off from a shoddy engine installation.
