Hi guys,
The heated steering wheel on our i40 (in Europe) has simply stopped heating.
The light doesn't come on either.
I've checked the fuse - looked ok, but I replaced it with the spare anyways.
Does it run through another fuse I should check, or can you give me any other pinters? I think it's very unlikely that a loom came loose - but this car does have dodgy electrics - AFLS regularly shows the warning light, and the tailgate regularly tries to kill you unless you open it with the button on the tailgate.
Can't find a service manual anywhere online. Can someone please come to the rescue?
Thanks in advance.
