So after replacing my engine due to recall..free charge...i noticed my instrument cluster lights going in and out like i had just turned on the car. all this happened while i was driving. then i get leave work for the day turn the car on and i have no dash lights at all and my shifter is stuck in park. so i give it some gas and the within a few minutes the dash lights flicker again and i notice the lights near the shifter flash as well so then i take it out of park and drive home no problem. in the morning same thing happened, no dash lights, shifter stuck in park. dash lights flickered on and off and i was able to take car out of park. any ideas what it could be. note: i had the inhibitor switch replaced in june 2017.

Call the dealer that performed the service. Make them come flatbed the car back to the dealership and fix it.

car is out of warranty...and i dont want to have to pay an arm and a leg
Who replaced your engine? The dealership? Whoever created the issue should look at it for no charge. There's got to be some kind of workmanship warranty.
