Hi all, my Limited has 225/45 18 tires on it. I'm looking for new ones, anyone have a recommendation for good all weather tires? Also, can a wider tire be installed without any issues to get more bite/road surface? Thanks in advance.

Tires are very subjective, so recommend looking on the tirerack site sit for products, price, reviews, and they even list installers throughout the US.
As far as oversize, I can't see why a 235/45-18 wouldn't work, but one piece of research you want to do is compare tread width within the same sizeas at times, a larger size tire can have a narrower tread width.

235/45 x 18 fit and work fine. This size will slightly take up some wheel gap, plus your speedo will be nearly spot on. I put on snow tires for the winter, so I'll let other's give opinions on brands of All Weather tires.

Diameter for 235/45 x 18 is 26.3". The stock size on the 2011-2014 2.0T is 225/45 x 18 with the diameter being 25.9"-26" depending on mfg'r. 235/45 x 18 is the stock size on my wife's 2018 2.0T Sport and I think also on her 2015 2.T Sport.

Oh, and the 245/40 x 18 would generally be the same, or close, diameter to the 225/45. So the 235/40 would be a skinnier/shorter diameter. Some might like the skinnier look, with a little more wheel gap.
