I just had my two brake lights go out on me, but the rear window 3rd light still works. Odds of two bulbs going out at the same time...seem improbable. What areas do I need to look at for a fix?

That's the first thing I would check and yes they could fail at the same time if the alternator voltage went high or a sudden jolt with your foot on the pedal.

Yeah. With all honesty, change a bulb...at least rule that out first.

I happened to find a spare bulb from the last change out, and sure enough, after ruling out a fuse, a bulb change solved it. Thanks much guys...I won't ever do the math on bulb failures again.
