I have a 2013 Tucson Base Model. I see remote starters (OEM) for sale on Amazon and Ebay. Does anyone know if my vehicle would be pre-wired for a remote starter? I could install it myself if it is. Thank You.

I have a 2011 Limited and did the OEM starter myself. It wasn't an issue of being prewired, as the starter is a series of Y-harnesses that plug into existing connections that should be present for all functions. It was direct plug and play, and doing everything as described in the directions it took me about 2.5 hours including full cycle testing. If in doubt, compare the part number with what the dealership tells you your model would need. The parts counter would probably be a better contact than the service department.
