I went to both Oreillys and Autozone when trying to buy plugs and wires to do a tune up, and they both said that a wireset does not exist for my vehicle. Is that even possible? Surely every vehicle has spark plug wires, right? Can somebody please post a link of what I need to buy for the wires? I already bought NGK iridium spark plugs...

I suspect you have not look at car yet to do spark plugs ??

This engine uses a coil stick,, coil sits on top of spark plug,, hence no ignition wire,, that thing dont even have a distributor / rotor / distributor cap...

If it's a diesel engine (since we're on the diesel engine forum), it wont have stick coils. It wont even have spark plugs either

Apparently, ignition coil over plugs (COP)
which means wiring harness goes to a connector which plugs into the COP
The COP plugs directly into the spark plug so no need for ignition spark plug wires.
The wires going to the COP don't experience high voltage so doesn't need to be replaced as often.
