Hi all,
I have hyundai elantra 2012. My car have some ignition issues.
When i start the car rpm goes high around 1500rpm then drops to almost 600rpm and then become stable at 1000rpm.
but sometimes car rev goes below 600rpm and the engine stop straight away
Then if I restart the car engine keeps on cranking cranking.

This is how my car reacting for last 1-2 month

I took the car to Hyundai dealerships. They changes crankshaft position sensor, still my car reacting the same and break down anywhere . Hyundai dealership saying they can’t find the fault.
There is nothing coming up on OBD scanner.

Please advice me what could me the reason for this issue.

Thank you grcauto
Just letting you know this problem started 1 after my car scheduled service

and during the service ,dealership told me that you car air filter is very dirty and needs to be replaced i even replaced the air filter.

I will ask my dealership to clean the throttle body.
Is there anything else should i ask them

what about air control valve and mass airflow sensor

they could also be the reason ?????

as my car is bouncing unusually just on ignition!!!!!!!

please advice me

If you are not doing the work yourself don't use the dealer but rather an independent shop. Anytime we see a vehicle with problems idling we always clean the throttle body which includes the IAC for non electronic TB.
