I just purchase a 2010 Santa Fe GL 4 cyclinder , I currently have 3000 km so far, and I notice a clunk noise on the rear end of the car whenever I travel over consecutive pothholes or uneven pavement, I have checked the tool compartment, jack compartment , spare tire and also the license plate, they all seem to be tightened. Has any one experience anything like this? I just want some idea of what can cause that noise. Thank you!

I look at it 2 ways... bumps and potholes are extremes, so I would expect some kind of noise with harsh impact...

If it is quiet during normal operation, then I would not be too concened unless it have THUD/CLUCK/CLICK driving on smooth road with normal body/suspension movement..

New vehicle, less than 5yr/60,000 in USA, let dealer deal with it, it got warranty..
