Hi All,.... I have aquired an i30 that needed (WAY OVERDUE) oil treatment & flush and a replacement VVT Solenoid and a new cam & crank sensor, plus new micro mesh engine filter....

It runs smooth, excellerates superb, no lifter rattles, no overheating BUT the **** "P0011" code returns after reseting (10minutes into running).

It doesnt stall, always starts strongly (hot or cold), no sign of frayed or burnt or broken wiring.

I have done everything known associated with regards to fixing a "P0011 code.

Any thoughts on what I might be overlooking ?

Cheers, Ian.

What sort of Ks has it done? can't say I've read much on P0011 in the i30 2.0 but it may be worth checking the timing chain and timing. I have read of a couple of failures in the 1.4 overseas and failed chain tensioner one case ended up bending valves.

I should say they had P0011 codes .
