Anyone know what this is and where it supposed to connect to
it runs along the inside top of the radiator sort of behind the upper
radiator hose

The device is a microswitch.
The metal tab gets pushed in (toward the blue body) which closes the switch between the 2 wires.
I bet it was positioned to detect when the hood is open or closed.

Seperated from hood latch

Harness connector have a red and black wires to the connector, then moves on to the switch ?

Unplug switch, see if car beep back when you double tap the lock button.. wait a minute, then plug switch in and see if alarm makes noise
