Hey everyone,

I was wondering if the 2010 Navigation head unit would fit in the factory spot of my 2007?

Or am i better off getting a aftermarket head unit as this one is driving me nuttz with it sounding like it is losing signal quality and i like crisp sounds so i notice it. The wife is starting to notice it as well.

Also can you bu the factory head unit? if so at what price? I'm in Canada

FWIW, here in the UK the unit is a standard 2din size so it will fit, although the wiring and harness are completely different. There is also an external GPS receiver to install. The biggest stumbler for me is the cost, here in the UK the 6disc MP3 changer headunit is over £2,000. For less than half of that you can have the manufacturer recommended Kenwood navigation head unit installed, with some change left over.

Radio reception was poor both with the factory unit and a replacement Clarion headunit, even in Central London, but I tend to listen to music from my iphone.

I'd say unless stock is really important, an aftermarket unit will serve you better!
