Does anyone know what the ratio is when the AWD is engaged? is it a 50F/50R or 40F/60R or 60F/40R?

I am guessing that it is a 40F/60R as we finally got some snow and ice and i locked the AWD on and stepped on it and the rear kicked out a bit....

Does anyone know for sure?

The Borg Warner system couples in additional power to the rear incrementally. The max is 50/50. There is a sticky pinned here that provides some explanation.

50/50 when locked under 40 km/hr. The rear end kicks out slightly because it is the lighter end of the vehicle, not because it gets more power.

As canderson says, check out the sticky post at the top of the Santa Fe page.
