Hi:

I am a new member to this forum and my first post here.

I bought my 2006 Tucson 2.0l FWD last October with 21,000km on it. I just brought it to the local Hyundai dealer for an oil change @ 29,000km (18,000 miles) today. I was advised to be prepared to replace the timing belt soon (because of the age of the car, but definitely not the mileage on it!!). On all my other cars, I was always told to replace the timing belt closer to the suggested mileage (not the age of the car). So is it more crucial to look at the mileageor the age of the car? I don't really want or have the $$$ to replace the timing belt well in advance of when I really need to. All advice are apprecaited! Cheers!
