i have a 2006 sonata v6 3.3 that the speedometer is not working at all and is throwing the code p0708 (Transmission Range Sensor Circuit, high input)I have replaced the speed sensor that is under the intake air box and the problem remains the same.. what can be cousing this problem, any help pls..

The range sensor tells the ECU which gear the transmission is in. It should be located on the side of the transmission. I couldn't find a diagram quickly, but I am sure if you go to hyundaitechinfo.com you can find one (I didn't check there).

Inhibitor switch/range sensor... however you wish to refer..

Located on top of trans case, shift lever/cable attachment is bolted to selector shaft which
pass through inhibitor switch (big multi-wire connector)
