Hi All!

I have a 2006 Tucson with approximately 125k on it. I am currently having an issue where the car cranks, but will not turn over the first few times you try to start the car. Happens more often in the afternoon/evening (when engine is already hot?). Doesn't happen typically in the morning. I'm not sure if it's temperature related in term of weather either.

Usually takes me 3-5 times starting the car to get it to fire up. I'm going to be replacing spark plugs (since they are about due from the last time I changed them) and both the crank and camshaft sensors since there are a lot of threads that say they can be problematic.

Also no check engine light currently- I'm going to hook up to a scan tool tonight to see if there are any pending DTCS.

Just trying to find out if anyone else has had this problem or has an idea of directions to go.

I know another common issue with these Tucsons are the fuel pumps.

Any help is appreciated!!!!
