Greetings,
Our 2003 Sonata V6 will crank over just fine but there is no spark... any ideas what we can check... crank sensor is one idea we had.

If it matters the steering wheel won’t lock and a friend said maybe it was related cause.

Many thanks in advance.

Cranks but no spark ...
Would take a look for injector pulse
If there is no injector pulse then would suspect crank sensor

See if there is 12 volts going to the coils
See if there is 12 volts going to the injectors

See if the crank sensor has 12 volts going to it
See if it is sending a signal to the ECM

Quick "crumble" inspect of sensor' pigtail be fast and easy,, CKP is practically a maintnance item anymore for yrs

If indeed ate up and did short, then we need to check the ECU fuses iin the engine room junction box
