Hello there everyone I have some problems with this gasket I ordered. So it’s rubber right and what I’m basically having problems with is how I can make the gasket take shape of the cover. It just keep popping out of the grooves because it’s not I guess soft enough too take the shape of the cover so I’m just seeking some tips on how to make it stay in place thanks so much

Should be a couple alignment tabs on the gasket. If not, try turning it around.

I had the same problem last week. Lower timing cover, right?

I used a bit of RTV to hold stuff in place, and rubber bands to hold all of that together for an hour or so while the RTV cured.

What did you ultimately do? Same thing?
