Hello,
Just had the driver window glass replaced. This is the second repair as the first guy just glued it and I think he partially detached the outer window seal.
Is there a way to glue it back or does it need to be replaced? Is that something I could do. Now that I've seen videos, I could have replaced the window glass myself.....
Thank for any assistance

Hello,
Contacted the dealer and the part is called the Belt molding for which they want 59.65 dollars and an hour labor at 100 dollars. I have the part number, but is it something that I can replace myself. Can't find any videos on it....
Help

Hi Walk7.

I've been through a similar situation, but with a Honda a few years back.

At first I tried silicon, but that only lasted a few weeks.

I then used a two part epoxy called Araldite.
That was over 2 years ago and it's been fine ever since ;)

Hope this helps.

Hello Simo,
Luckily I massaged it back in place and so far it is staying. But I will keep your advice to heat, should it begin to fail.
Thanks and Cheers
