I think my alternator is starting to fail, noticed the headlights and dome lamp will flicker while idling. They hold steady at 15-2k rpm, but I need to some voltage checks. Whats the best way to get out, thru the top or bottom? did a couple quick searches on youtube and see it both ways. Person who did the bottom route, popped the CV axle out, dont feel like doing that.

With my 05 v6 I took it out from the top but I also didnt have ABS or that would have been in the way. The 4 cyl looks similar and im guessing as long as your dont have the ABS module you can get it from the top as well.
