I received the P0441 code and it pointed to the PCSV. After replacing the PCSV the engine light and code still appears. Should the light go away or is there still a problem present.

Not sure but I think you have to clear the code, this is how it was with my GM cars, you do this either with the OBD II reader you used to get the code by pressing erase or by unplugging both battery terminals for at least three minutes.

The code should clear itself once you have 3 full trips without the fault appearing. Or you can clear it with a OBDII reader. Unplugging the battery works as well, but it also clears the adaptive learning for the ECU, and all your radio presets.

Replace the Purge Solenoid, and CLEAR THE PCM... the code will lay in hiding in memory if you do not.. will monkey with somebody the next time the MIL illuminate for some other concern and they find the 0441 hiding in there..
