I have a 2004 GLS with rear drum and front disc. From reading, its my belief this is non-ABS (never felt any ABS activity either)

I'm looking at replacement masters for a non-ABS model and I was wondering what the little extensions are on my installed master cylinder rear lines. The underside and driver side lines have small 1 inch extensions on them that the line threads to and I've never seen these on the replacement master photos.

What are these and do I re-use them on a new part? or, should I expect those to come with the new master?

Thanks very much for the help!

I own a 2001 Elantra and had to have my master cylinder replaced
And I don't know what you are saying about the master cylinder
Mine has four lines coming out of the MC

Are you going to do the work yourself or have a mechanic do it for you??

Oh, the front right has an ABS sensor and the CV axle has a tone ring
Yes, the car does not come with ABS. Never had it.
However, the ECU uses this ABS sensor to determine the actual speed of the vehicle
And the ECU also uses the VSS on the transmission to determine the speed of the vehicle
If the information doesn't correlate properly then the ECU can put the whole thing into limp home mode
