Hello,

A couple of days ago I was working on my car and I had to disconnect the battery briefly. After reconnecting it, the radio acted funny. It would turn on and off by itself. I pulled the ECM fuse from the controller box to see if that fixed that the problem and it sort of did. Except now the stereo and clock do not turn on. Also, when I turn on the car, the fuel gauge needle goes up and down and then sets on its appropriate place.

How do I fix these problems?

thank you.

What were you doing to the car? Exactly...
I was checking if one of the oxygen sensors worked. All I did was disconnect the terminals and then proceeded to check if the oxygen sensor worked with a multi meter. I then cleaned the sensor and reconnected the battery.

I don't know where you learned to do that but I suggest you forget everything you think you learned from that source.
I suggest you take it to a mechanic.
