Hi,

I'm getting this vehicle ready for my son who just turned 18. Installed new battery. Engine will crank but won't start. Only 32k miles (was wife's grandmother.. barely driven)

Checked fuses, relays and plugs. Gasoline had pretty much evaporated. Added five gallons + an octane booster. All electrical accessories work. Feels like gas just isn't getting through. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hello Jonathan, welcome to the forum 00000732

When asking for help with an engine problem it would be useful to know what engine we're dealing with?
Where in the world you are might also be relevant??

You could help us to help you if you could take the time to update your forum profile with details of your car and where you live so the info is displayed beside each of your future posts.

So, the engine cranks but doesn't start. What have you checked so far?
Is there spark at the plugs?
Does the fuel pump switch on DURING CRANK? (link below explains how to test that).
That's the two most basic tests you should do when the engine wont start. Tell us the results of those and we'll decide where to go next.

Regards.
Scott.
