Hi I have a 2.7l engine. I have always had a issue starting the vehicle. It normally takes 2-3 cranks to get it to start. The cam and crank sensors have been replaced. The fuel filter, pump and pressure regulator have also been replaced. And recently the plugs, starter, battery and coils ( the coil recently failed). With all that done, I still have a starting issue. Sometimes 2-3 cranks. Other times I just about run the battery down trying to get it to start. I am at a loss.

Have you taken any steps to try and figure out why it wont start? Have you checked for spark at the plugs? Have you checked that the fuel pump is being switched on DURING CRANK? Obviously, you need to check these things while it isn't able to start.

Look at the engine temperature when cold. Is it the same as the ambient temperature? Should be close.
