Wild guess, somebody put spark plugs or plug wires on rather recently ??
Reason I ask,,,,,, both connectors/components is right there beside each other.....
Extremely easy to mix up the connectors if they was unplugged from each component.. The air temp sensor spins into the intake, and has (if I recall) a green/blue connector, where the Purge valve is a black connector or orange/tan or.... Bare with me on this, I'm at home today enjoying my Saturday off.
BTW,,, you erase the codes when repair made.. this way can verify the work repairs the problem.
