Hi I own a Accent and Im having trouble with the way the torque converter engages and disengages. When The vehical hits 3rd gear the torque converter locks up and it gains speed under low RPM. Only on flat ground. As soon as I come across any sort of hill the torque converter lockup disengages and im using high revs to move up hills.

So do I need a new TCC? If so were can I find one.

Did you use the correct Hyundai - Kia SPIII ATF ?

It does have a code but I dont think thats the problem.
How do you know it has a code, and if it is applicable or not... you say below <span style="color:#4B0082">"I guess I could have it scanned"</span>

I guess I could have it scanned.
Probably be the best place to start...

You're prolly right. The code has nothing to do with your problem.

Even though you don't know what the code is??? The TCM can send codes to the ECM.
