hi, sonata family
a week earlier i changed the oil
a week later driving home doing 35-40 even flow, engine running smooth, with no notice the engine just shut down,
coast to a parking spot and tried restarting, crank no start. got it towed home, check for spark/good, check injetor w/noid light/good, tried starter fluid, changed fuel filter, tried starting, same crank no start. further search found a thin strip of belt coming from timing cover, removed p/s pulley, idlier pulley, tensioner pulley, engine mount, and t/b cover. belt ripped and took idlier pulley with it. replaced idlier pulley, tensioner pulley, and belt. l/h cam off 6-8 teeth, r/h cam dead on mark, crank off 3-5 teeth, reset marks for l/hcam and crank and reinstalled belt.
rechecked everything looked good, but didn't see a crank position sensor, reassemble and tried starting, samething CRANK NO START!!!! i'm at a lost, is their something i'm over looking. any advice, help, or input is greatly valued
