i bought a 1999 2l fx 2nd hand which didnt come with an owners manual, had many months faultless driving from car. car started on the button every time. i gave it to a friend to use. approx 3 weeks later he rang me and said car wont start. as i didnt have have manual i tried the usual suspects fuel pump, plugs leads etc. all to no avail, turn ignition and car starting motor etc all fine but not turning over, i had a different car a long time ago and my coupe is behaving like it did before i turned off immobiliser using a code which was inputted into drivers door by alternating turns of key. if the coupe has an immobiliser i would really appreciate details on how its done. no dealerships near me so i figured this would be best place to ask. p.s the friend said that car was hooked to a diagnostic machine which didnt uncover any major faults but i didnt witness this.even a definitive yes or no on if car has 1 would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance coupe fx lover
