Hi just a quick question about the rear drum brake axle nut. Is it torqued up tight or backed off slightly. Got two different answers from Hyundai. Also is it true u have to buy the whole hub just to replace the bearings or can they be pressed out?

I am terribly sorry I missed your post a month ago - I would have answered within a minute.

Given the Coupé is (E)Lantra based I can see that the rear hub is a complete assembly with the bearings integrated and ABS ring attached to it. Similar principle as the front ones on BMW E34/E32. These can only be replaced as a unit. Center nut has high torque (320Nm on the BMWs, maybe a little less on the lighter Hyundai cars).

Check it out here. LINK
