Hi all.

I have a 1994 Lantra 1.8l 5sp with about 138000 km on the clock and it has developed a problem with the engine/drivetrain. Basically, when the engine is cold and and you start driving it the power seems to deteriorate (it's like it bogs down) and the car lurches/hesitates/bunny hops/hunts (or whatever term you choose to use) and I have to slip the clutch to build up the rpm and try to apply the power gradually.

I have just replaced the clutch and pressure plate and the same condition remains so I assume that is not the issue.

When the engine is up to operating temperature the problem is vastly improved if not negligible, although if I let the clutch out too quickly it does shudder a bit..

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks.
