SO I BOUGHT A SET OF 2011 GENESIS RIMS, BACK FITS GREAT,FRONT IS UP ON THE BRAKE THE WHEEL WILL NOT TURN,I WAS THINKING OF USING A 1/4 WHEEL SPACER, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERENCE WITH A SPACER, LOOKS LIKE A 1/4 INCH WOULD WORK. 17X7 GENESIS RIM IF NOT LOOKS LIKE I WILL HAVE A SET FOR SALE. I can't imagine it rubbing the brake caliper as the Sonata use 16s just fine, and the Genesis has bigger brakes... pics would help though. I'm also getting different numbers for the Genesis Sedan wheels... 17x6.5 and 17x7 and an offset of +31, not sure which numbers to trust.

thanks for a answer, the rim are 17x7 from a 2011 genesis that had 3 miles on it. my car is a 3.3 se v6 my rims are 17x6.5 , i cant unerstand why the rim is hitting the brake caliper ,do you think a 1/4 spacer will work, thanks jim

ricer by the way it is not hitting the inside of the caliper it is hitting the outside or the front of caliper,

Interesting... yeah a spacer should work. Depending on how big of a spacer you need, you might want to change the wheel studs to longer ones. I'd say a 5mm spacer is probably the biggest one you want to use on stock studs.

agree, today i tried a51/6 to big only had 5 turns on the lug nuts,dont feel good about that, for sale 4 2011 genesis wheels 17x7 3 miles on them, 450.00 plus shipping. thanks ricer , jim pittsburgh

is there a 1/8 spacer, thats all i need, then i can get 7or 8 spins on the lug nuts ,,did you need spacers on your wheels, looking good.
