I recently noticed that my rear vents in the back portion of the vehicle don't blow warm air, noticed it was blowing ice cold air... any body have the same problem? Rear vent should be functional for both cold a/c and warm air vent during your need.

Try various setting of front system, and refer to owner manual also..

Seems to me we had somebody with same / similar concern, and it turns out the front has to be set a certain direction to pass warm air off front main HVAC box into duct that run through center console to rear vent..

Try closing the side vents.

❈ Air outlet vents for rear seat (E, F)
• The air flow of the rear outlet vents (F)is controlled by the front climate control
system and delivered through the inside air duct of the floor.
• The air flow of the rear outlet vents (E, F) may be weaker than the instrument
panel vents for the long air duct.
• Close the rear outlet vents (F) in cold weather. The air flow of the rear outlet
vents may not be as warm during heating operation. (Use the rear outlet
vents (F) during cooling operation.)
