I have an '06 Hyundai Tucson (about 24,000 miles) and driving in a moderate climate (70-85 degrees).
After driving for about 10-15 minutes, there is a very high-pitched squeal that seems to come from under the front of the vehicle. It sounds almost like a metal-on-metal screech. It is hard to isolate exactly where the noise is being generated, but it continues for a period of time and has no relationship to when the brakes are applied. Just seems that once the vehicle is "warmed up", the screeching begins.
I had the Tucson in to the dealership one week ago...checked the brakes and could not find a source of the problem. Fortunately, the dealer DID witness the squealing and couldn't put it off as an isolated incident. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this annoyance? Thanks very much for your help!
