Hi,

This is my first elantra, so I don't know much of common issues, on this model. Well My elantra cranks slow. This is at any time and weather. I have done nothing to it, as it was running fine.

Year: 2001
Mileage: 89,000
Tuning: up to date

Thank you for all your help.

welcome to the forums :00000732:

get the battery and charging system checked, if that's o/k check all the ground connections on the battery, chassis and engine, if that checks out o/k then its likely to be a worn starter motor

ITs been a WHile with the elentra.

The Fix was a New Battery, I also cleaned the connections to the alternator and Starter....This all seemed to work, plus they needed it.

Thank you

Elentra was sold, I missed my hyundai I bought a mini Elantra (accent)
