No Android Auto, VERY Disappointed

Just purchased a new 2015 Sonata Hybrid, and the salesman told me it will support the Android Auto. All I had to do was take it to the service department.

This was a huge selling point for me because that means I no longer needed to pay the 99$ + a year for the BlueLink buggy features, and I would have tons of other features free with Android Auto.

After arriving at the service department, I was told this feature is not available on the Sonata Hybrid, but the Sonata supports it. Great. Now I'm stuck with BlueLink that can't even hold a bluetooth connection to my Galaxy S6 without losing connection randomly.

If anyone figures out a way to install Android Auto on my 2015 Sonata Hybrid, PLEASE let me know. I feel I've been deceived in a selling point feature.

Likely not.

The best way to go about this would be to purchase a third-party headunit that has Android Auto capabilities.

The salesman clearly messed up, the 2015 Sonata is still under the YF-generation that would never see Android Auto. The 2016 Sonata Hybrid gets Android Auto I believe.

Make the salesman buy you the third party head unit, and cover install costs. He blatantly lied to you.

If he refuses, take it to his superiors, and keep going up until you get to hyundai corporate, if needed. They'd rather spend $1,000 or so bucks to make you happy to keep your car than risk returning it to stock and having to try to sell it again.
