Speedo Problem

2002 SF AWD 2.7 lost speedo and changed cluster and both axles,still no speedo ,,no codes all that is left is Output Shaft sensor correct ????or am i missing something ? Thanks for any help

Did you check Fuse#25 10A ?

The output shaft sensor has nothing to do with the speedo. Your looking for the vehicle speed sensor, usually mounted on the gearbox back against the bulkhead. If you google "Hyundai VSS" then click the IMAGES tab you'll no doubt find a picture of one. It's usually a brown coloured thing with a green plastic gear wheel at one end.

I got bad info on the in and out sensor...i bought i VSS with the gear on it ,and can't find it anywhere,,,,,,,i have VSS on the axles,do i still have one on the Trans ???

Oh well, just add it to the money and time you wasted on the cluster and axles.

Just kidding. It's there, you just need to look for it. Unfortunately I'm way over here in Bonny Scotland so I can't physically point to it for you.
