SanteFe Alignment Issues

I recently replaced at the dealer for all 4 tires on my 2014 Hyundai SantaFe. Both back tires inside edges have worn out on the tires since then in just 1200 miles. The measurements for the alignment after the installation and alignment by the dealer are all in the normal range. The deal reports that all the bolts are secure and claim that the issue was not a problem with the alignment they did. Are there any out there that have had similar issues? Other than replacing the tires and re-aligning they are not offering any other explanation of what may have caused the issue.

One mechanic claimed that if the bolts securing the alignment were not torqued properly that could have caused such a severe shift in the alignment.

Re-check the alignment somewhere else.

I would not trust a dealership for an alignment. I'm a DIY'er but I like Firestone for alignments. Just don't let them open your hood for free courtesy inspection as they are only focused on up-selling unnecessary maintenance.

My '13 Santa Fe doesn't hold an alignment well on our potholed roads. I bought a lifetime alignment at Firestone and go in every 6 months to have it checked and at every check, it required a tweak.

Take the tires and the alignment. Then have your alignment checked elsewhere.
